LITTLE ROCK (KATV) —
Little Rock police say no injuries were reported after a 70-year-old woman blacked out and drove her car into a Crackel Barrel.
Authorities say the woman was meeting up with her sister for lunch when she blacked out while parking and her foot hit the accelerator, sending her car over the curb and into the building’s gift shop.
Police were called out to the restaurant on Shackleford Road at 11:45 a.m. and were told the ceiling was starting to come down on the car.
No one was injured during the lunchtime incident, but the driver was taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure to see what caused her to lose consciousness.
Police say it took about 30 minutes to get the car out of the building.
