Applications for potential dispensaries and cultivation sites can be submitted through the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Commission website. The Arkansas Medical Marijuana Commission has opened the process for potential dispensaries and cultivation sites to begin submitting applications.
The five-member commission finalized the application scoring method earlier in June.
The 100-point application will consist of 5 sections: qualifications of application, ability to operate in compliance with laws, rules and regulations, operations plan and financial disclosure along with a bonus section.
Bonus points will be awarded to applicants based on the projected impact of the diversity of the area.
The commission will award five licenses for cultivation sites and 32 licenses for dispensaries.
The state will begin accepting applications on June 30 through September 18.
