Little Rock police arrested a juvenile who was wanted in connection with a shooting in June.
Authorities report Matthew Hood, 17, is being charged as an adult on a felony warrant of possession of a firearm by a minor.
The shooting occurred at 23rd and Harrison on June 22.
A witness told police she observed a vehicle traveling northbound on S. Harrison shooting a firearm. The witness said she heard around nine gunshots.
Little Rock officers were advised that the suspect was traveling in a gold Sedan with a black bumper. Soon after, officers spotted a vehicle matching that description.
Officers attempted to initiate a traffic stop on Monroe Street on the vehicle, at which point two juveniles fled on foot.
According to police, both juveniles were located and taken in for questioning. After further investigation, it was determined the juveniles were fleeing from a black vehicle that was shooting at them on S. Harrison Street.
LRPD reported finding a shell casing and two projectiles at the residence on S. Harrison.
One of those juveniles was charged with fleeing and possession of misdemeanor drugs. The second was charged with fleeing.
