LITTLE ROCK (KATV) —
A skydiver was taken to the hospital after he crash-landed onto a Little Rock golf course Tuesday at 7 p.m.
According to a police report, a Little Rock officer, who was working in an off-duty capacity for the Little Rock Country Club, was contacted by employees and told a man was injured as he was parachuting onto the property from an airplane.
Witnesses told police they saw 55-year-old Gregory Todd’s parachute come open. However, as Todd was coming down to land, he became distressed as though a malfunction occurred and spun before landing on the golf course.
Todd was taken to UAMS, where authorities say he was in stable condition.
The parachute was recovered by police.
The FAA was notified of the investigation.
